Ursula Young Voigt, Psy.D.
Psychologist, PSY 18847

Welcome to my page! I would like to tell you something about myself and my practice. I treat people who are anxious, stressed and depressed. I also work with couples wanting to learn how to communicate more effectively. I enjoy working with people who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives. I have helped a lot of artists in overcoming creative blocks. I also like working with those who are spiritual seekers.

I would like to help you discover your true path to well-being and assist you in mastering the challenges that keep getting in the way of what you really want in life. I have helped many people who felt stuck, at a crossroads in life, sad angry, or overwhelmed.

My treatments incorporate a focus on current issues, making sense of influences from your past and how you can utilize your strengths. I would like to be part of your journey.

I create a safe space where you can feel free to explore as much or as little of yourself as you want. I am familiar with a variety of therapy options for us to choose. I strive to use the most effective treatments available for your unique requirements.

In addition to my clinical practice I am a community health educator for the psychiatry department at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco. The classes I teach are Couples Communication and Overcoming Depression.

 sunflowerPersonal Information

After emigrating in my teens from Germany to the United States, I went to school, raised a family and worked as an artist and a body worker. When my children were grown, I entered the doctoral program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I received my doctorate. I bring my personal experience with blended families and multicultural issues to my psychotherapy practice. I am bilingual and can offer psychotherapy in German to those who are interested.
